In the story, when Camilla lies about not liking lima beans, it reminds me of the story A Day's Work. In A Day's Work, the little boy lies to his grandfather about planting the right kind of plant. Both characters learn the lesson that it would have been easier to tell the truth in the first place.

ReplyDeleteIn the story, when Camilla went back to school she was embarrassed about her stripes, this reminded me of the time my sister was embarrassed because she took salad to school for lunch and someone made fun of her.
