Studio JJK

Mrs. Speder has signed Creeds up for a really exciting literary opportunity. We get to have a virtual chat with the author of the Lunch Lady graphic novel series. A handful of you have been selected to read one of the novels and have the opportunity to ask a question at Tuesday's webchat.

Check out Jarrett J. Krosocza's website. Not only is he a talented author, but he is also an AMAZING illustrator.

  10. I like watching him paint the pig on the video. I also saw books I read when I was little. I did not know he was the one who drew the pictures. I thought the guitar he painted was cool. I like that I can ask him questions on the website too. I would ask him if he ever stops painting what job would he like to have?

  19. I found how he drew his characters most intresting. First he draws what kind of looks like a base of the body, then he adds details, and things like that. He is a very good artist. If I had a chance to ask him one question, I would ask him where he got his artistic abilaties from. HE'S LIKE A PRO!!!

  27. Which feature was most interesting to you? I found the videos of the him making a pig the most interesting. It was so cool how he made a pig with drawing and then painting it.

If you could speak to "JJK" himself, what would you ask him? I would ask him where did he learn to draw like that? Does he use pictures of real pigs to draw from, or does he do it just from his head? Has he always drawn really well, or is it something he learned in school somewhere?
