Creeds has some EXCITING Reading Month activities planned for you!
Listed below are some ways for you to participate:
- All month we will be reading Chocolate Fever. It is interesting to think that every student at Creeds will know this story by the end of the month!
- On Fridays, the PTA is sponsoring a "Read In" at lunch. After eating, you can curl up on stage with a book.
- Mrs. Dawson is sponsoring a Reading Poster Contest. Design a poster persuading others to read. There will be a winner chosen from each grade level. The posters are due January 13.
- Get caught reading! Anytime you have free time, READ! You could earn a ticket. Turn your tickets into the library. You could be a winner!
- January 20 is Dress Like Your Favorite Book Character Day!
- January 26 is Wear Pajamas Spirit Day. We will be having a Drop Everything and Read Celebration in school that day.
- Every Thursday from 6:00-7:00 is Creeds Reads in the library. For every Thursday you attend in January, you will get a HW pass. The 4th grade teachers will be attending on January 12. Please plan to join us!
- Your Read A Thon Fundraiser and Logs are due January 31.
- Brag Tag Reading Logs are due January 14 and January 28.

I will try to do all of them. But my most fovorite is pajama day!

I've already been caught reading two times. I might dress like my favorite character. I will wear pajamas on Spirit Day. I'll probably do the Creeds Reads.
ReplyDeleteI will try to do as many of them as I can. I know I will not be able to attend Creeds reads because I have basetball practice. My favorite is pajama day because I can wear my pajamas to school.

2.Next is my favorite thing to do in reading month,Wear your favorite Pjs!I am super psyched!
3.Every Friday we have a read in on the stage where we snuggle up and drop everthing and read.
4.Whenever you have a second, drop everthing and read because if a teacher cacthes you reading she gives you a ticket that says:I GOT CAUGHT READING and are enterd to win a new great book.
5.Evey Thursday we have"Creeds Reads" a time to read whatever you want for one hour.If you come any time in the month of January you will earn a Homework Pass.Come 3 times in the year and you will get a glittery purple bead for your brag tag.

I will participate in all of them since it is reading month and it is is also the month of pajama day and Love pajama day because 1:00 to 3:00 we just get to relax in our pajamas and read for 2 whole hours.How EXCITING IS THAT!

The events I want to do the most are Pajama day and dress like you favorite chariter day. I like these because I am supporting reading month aa a SCA member. I will wear my Pajamas because I like to read in Pajamas at home. I like to dress like your favorite character day because I can use my imgination and wear cool hats and crazy hair to represent my favorite character from a book. These are the reasons why I will be participating with the SCA during reading month!

I would love to try to do all of them! I will not be able to come to creeds reads due to horses back riding but I would love to! The ones I will definitely going to do are Brag Tag Reading Log,reading Chocolate Fever,Read A Thon Fundraiser,Wear Pajamas Spirit Day, and Dress Like Your Favorite Book. I wish i could do all though!:)
